Tia! Tia!

I just returned from Tia and Rick's wedding!! They are such amazing friends and it was an honor to stand up as a bridesmaid and celebrate with them...on a beach in Costa Rica no less!! Since I was in the wedding, I didn't spend much time behind the camera, but was able to grab a couple shots of Tia literally before she left her room to walk down the aisle. She is such an incredibly beautiful person everyday, but on this day she was particularly stunning and breathtaking!!! Tia and Rick- Congratulations! Love you both...

A bedtime story

I was at my sister's house and captured these sweet, perfect and quite "bedtime story" moments. I am loving how my two nephews (Thor and Leif) found the perfect place to lay their heads- right on Laura's pregnant belly... the perfect pillow. :)

Home Sweet Home

There is no denying it... I love Colorado! And for the first time in my adult life I found a place where I want to stay a good long while! :) Here is a view of Golden, CO where Bill and I live... the town is actually nestled in the valley below-that you can't quite see in this photo, but isn't it beautiful... sigh...feels good to be home!

Less Talk, More Swimming

For those of you who know my sister, Laura, you may know that when she was a little girl someone asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said, "A swimmer!" Well, there has not been a day in my life that I don't associate Laura with the pool and her being 8 months pregnant is no exception. I tagged along to one of her swim's recently because I couldn't resist capturing this amazing time and this amazing woman at a place that is so representative of who she is.... (by the way, with her other two sons she also swam up to the delivery day...amazing!) Love you Laura and that little buddy on the way too!

Julie and Andy

I was so excited when Katie Thurmes of Jenna Walker Photographers asked me to join her on a portrait session for Julie and Andy as her second shooter. Ok, so take a stunning couple, put them in their wedding clothes and bring them to Breckenridge, CO... a beautiful dream come true! It was so much fun for me to help Katie, shoot and have one heck of a good time! Below are some of my favorites... Thanks so much Katie for letting me come along!! I just love this stuff- I can hardly stand it!

There are just some kinds of love...

that seem so real, that even someone from the outside looking in can really feel it. Watching Jeanna and Steve get married, you could definitely feel how much they cared for each other, but also how that love extended itself to their parents, sisters, brothers and friends. It was an honor to help capture the day and be a second shooter for Katie Thurmes of Jenna Walker Photographers... Thank you Katie!

Lori and Stephen

Lori and Stephen are getting married in just a few weeks, and I got the opportunity to join Katie Thurmes of Jenna Walker Photographers (I am addicted to her incredible photography...so you have to take a look at their site!!) as her second shooter on their engagement shoot.
