All that and the Kitchen Sink!

Tonight Bill and I had a great evening with Joe, Becca and 2-year old Campbell Mahoney. They are some of our favorite people and we are so blessed to have them in our lives.
With lack of any toys at our house, Campbell found some entertainment in, what else? but the kitchen sink. How could I not grab my camera?
What a great night... all that and the kitchen sink!

Maxim Magazine

I got some exciting news this week. This photo I took, which is featured in an Outward Bound public service announcement (PSA), was placed nationally in the 2008 April issue of Maxim Magazine. YEA!If you look closely, you can see my photo credit on the bottom left hand side of the photo. My hope is that this PSA continues to get placed, we get more students on Outward Bound, and you see it in a magazine you are reading! Keep your eyes out! :)

Are they done yet?

I couldn't help but grab my camera and laugh when I found my brother, Michael, waiting in front of the oven for the chocolate chip cookies to get done. I guess you are never too old... :)

When life is good, lick the bowl

I love this photo series of 17 mo. old Leif. It has got to be pure instinct... when it is good, you just can't help but lick the bowl (and hope that no one is looking).

Rub-a-dub-dub

Rub-a-dub-dub two brothers in the tub... Those who know me, know that I spend a ton of time loving on my nephews Thor and Leif. I was over at their house tonight and captured this shot at bath time. Classic... don't we all have at least one photo like this?

Games with Big Rewards!

I scream, you scream... oh yea, ice cream! Leif is all laughs as he shares his ice cream with Thor. Thor is not complaining. He is loving this game. A fun shot just capturing the fun moments that fill our days.

Isomorphic Correspondence

Isomorphic Correspondence... I learned about this in a photography class. It is the emotional connection you have with a photo, where you are unable to separate your emotions from your ability to critque the quality of the actual photo. Well, call me guilty... I don't care. :) These are my little loves, Thor and Leif.

Spiderman Freedom

Nothing says "freedom" better than being able to fix your Spiderman bike, in your Spiderman underwear! Seriously, does it get any better than that? Not according to my nephew Thor, who got a new bike for his 3rd birthday and needed to spend a little time "fixing it" with an adjustable wrench before he could ride it. I love this photo... it captures the innocence of a boy, worrying about nothing else than the excitment of getting a new bike. Love you, buddy!
