Nap time!

I will be back behind my camera on a regular basis again in a few weeks, but for now Mica and Bill and are my two favorite models... and I couldn't resist grabbing my camera when I saw Dad and Daughter laying on the couch for an afternoon nap... irresistible! Oh, I am head over heels for the both of them! I am so enjoying these days...

Mica's Early Days

I have been told by so many new parents that the early days of their baby's life pass so quickly and that soon this little peanut in front of me will turn into a little girl. So, to help remember these early days I asked Katie Thurmes of Jenna Walker Photography and Tree Swing Kids to come out to the house and capture our new family and Mica at only one week old.

I have worked as one of Katie's second shooter's over the past year and what fun to have her come out to the house and help us celebrate this little girl. Mica Elizabeth Gillaspie!

On Monday our lives changed forever... and I am overwhelmed at how life can be so good to us. So very, very good. At 2:53 am on July 6th we were blessed with a healthy baby girl named Mica Elizabeth Gillaspie. She was 8 lbs 6.5 oz and 20.75 inches. What an incredible blessing! She just blows me away...
