Clay turns One!

Sweet, handsome Clay is just about to have his first birthday, so we vetured to the park with his mom and dad (who are just fantastic people!) to capture a few great images before his big day! I wanted to share a few of my favorites from the morning! What a great day!

...and then we couldn't forget about their dog -Daisy! This is one of her more serious portraits! :)

Ironman!

Last Sunday, my husband Bill completed an Ironman race in Louisville, KY! Just Awesome! For those of you not familiar with the race that is a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run...back to back...no stopping... amazing! It was so inspiring to watch. I could not have been more proud of him and his accomplishment. He had a great race. I was able to capture a few moments of his day and wanted to share some of the images with you... Bill, Congratulations! Love you!
The day before the race Bill went to go check out the course.... soon to be IRONMAN!

All spectators got the opportunity to make a sign for the person they were cheering for and I couldn't resist! :) Go Bill!

The day before the big day, Bill got in a warm-up swim ...

and took a spin on the bike to check out sections of the course.

Race Day morning... It is was hard to find Bill among the spectators and the over 2,000 athletes, but as he headed to the starting line -he walked right by me, startled me and I snapped this shot right before he jumped in for the swim... Ironman in the making! GO BILL!

Out of the water and running to the bike transition...

On the bike and out for his 112 mile ride...

Zoooom... he had an incredible ride and this is a shot I got as he was coming back into transition from the bike. Fast! Go Bill!

On the marathon run... it made me tired just watching... these are just some amazing athletes.
I saw this sign posted all along the Ironman race course and although it was meant for oncoming traffic, I just thought it was too ironic for the Ironman althetes... NO stopping Sunday! Keep Running! 11:29:33 later, Bill crossed the finish line... yea, this is when my eyes filled with tears. I was just so proud of him.
My Ironman! Congratulations again, Love... I am so proud of you!
